It started with boxes of parts in a garage.
Working as a technician, our founder kept running into the same thing. The diagnosis took twenty minutes, but the repair took two weeks. Not because the fault was complicated, but because the part had to be ordered, waited on, and fitted during a second visit. Meanwhile the customer was living without a fridge.
So he started carrying the common parts with him. First a few boxes in the trunk, then a full rack in the van. Repeat visits dropped to almost none.
Islington Appliance Repair grew out of that. Not from a big idea, just from not wanting to come back twice.
We work in Etobicoke and York, and nowhere else.
